The Critter Corner .org

I love animals.  This is something that I didn't know until after my college years.  Today my enjoyment of animals continues as I have several pets of my own.  I enjoy writing about all kinds of animals and this blog gives me a great outlet to do just that.  I'd love to find more places to write about animals for but at least this is something for now :-)

Today I'm thankful for each of my pets...

Starting with Eliza Bean Dolittle.  She's such a meek, loving cat with such a cute meow.


Then there's Tracey Lee.  He's our baby boy who loves to wrestles with my daughter and sleep with me at night.  He's also our very first pet.


Now you can't forget about the guinea pigs...  First there's Gizmo with her lil white Indian feather (too bad you can't see it here it's so cute).  She's a chirper.

It's so hard to let go of a pet, no matter how short of time you've had to spend with them.  Recently my daughter had to bury a pet mouse that she only had for 2 months.  It wasn't easy...  It was full of tears...  We still go to the grave and put flowers on it and the pain is easing a bit but I think this poem has really helped the most...
